Trip Overview
Lower Dolpo Trekking is the most popular trek in remote western Nepal. The trial passes through Tse-Phoksundo National park for which an entry fee to be paid in addition to the trekking permit. The reliable access is by air to Juphal, which is at 4 hours distance from Dunai, headquarters of Dolpa district.
We do have regular flight from Nepalgunj to Dunai. May be trek can be started from Dhorpatan & end to Tansen/Pokhara, which is throughout in this region. The trek can be completed within 15-24 days depend upon the weather & walking speed. This circuit can be completed either clockwise or anti clock wise on the interest of tourist. However, the attraction of this trek is Tarap Valley & Phoksundo lake. The following itinerary is recommended, even it can be changed as according to the wish of the tourist.
