The trek starts off from the ruins of Drugyal Dzong, follwoing a river at 2500 meters to an altitude of 4820 meters at Yalila Pass.
Jhomolhari Trek route takes you through narrow fertile valleys to wide open yak pastures, across high passes to close-in winding river valleys, through villages and old ruins of dzongs to yak herd camps, from high alpine mountains to semi-tropical forests. Catch spectacular views of the high ridges and snow -capped peaks, of crashing rivers, feeder streams and waterfalls, of the majestic grandeur of Mount Jomolhari and Tserim Kang and its glaciers. Day rest at Linghi takes you on an excursion to Tsokha, the base camp of Mount Jichu Drake.
