Itinerary in Details

Day 01 Kathmandu Zangmu/Nyalam(3600m)-153km:
Departure at 0600 hrs from the Thamel.Approx.05 hours drive to Kodari (China/Nepal boarder).Half an hour drive to Zhangmu,where after immigration formalities we drive further to Nyalam following Bhotekoshi river in a deep valley with some overflowing waterfalls.Overnight in guest house.

Day 02 Nyalam Tingri/Lhatse(4050m)-285km:
Drive through Nyalam pass (3800m) with the view of Jugal Himal. A continued drive via Lalungla Pass(5050m) has some of the outstanding view of Mt. Sisapangma(8013m highest in Tibet),Mt. Makalu(8464m),Mt. Lhotse(8516m),Mt. Cho Oyu(8201m) & Everest(8848m).Overnight rest at Guest house.

Day 03 Lhatse Xigatse(3900m)-90kms:
Drive to X3 igatse, the place of the famous Tashilumpo Monastry & the seat of Panchen Lama.Overnight at Hotel at Samdrupse or similar standard.

Day 04 Xigatse Gyantse (3950m)-90km:
After visiting Tashilumpo Monastry in the morning including the Bazaar of Xigatse.Drive to Gyantse,which is 02 hrs. Gyantse is small busting town steeped in history. It lies 264km southwest of Lhasa on the northern bank of Nyang chu river. In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small kingdom.Visit Kumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD.It later became the main center for trade with British India.Overnight at guest house.

Day 05 Gyantse Lhasa(3650m)-261kms:
08 hrs drive takes you to Lhasa crossing the Karo La Pass climbs between two lofty mountains,Nozing Khang Sa (7223m) and Ralung (6236m). While driving you will see the Yamdrok Tso(Turquoise Lake) which takes approx.1 hour to cross around.After passing Kamb La,Lhasa valley is seen to the north.You will also cross the Bramaputra river.The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onward airline ticket.O/N Hotel.

Day 06 & 07 In Lhasa:
These days you will be engrossed with sightseeing & excursions of the Potala Palace,The Jokhang temple,surrounding Barkhor market,Drepung monastry & Sera Monastry. Overnight at guest house.

Day 08 Lhasa Kathmandu:
In the morning after breakfast,transfer to airport 02 hrs.drive Represantative will assist you. Departure of flight for Kathmandu would be approx.10:00 hrs,China standard time & arriving Kathmandu at 09:00 hrs,Nepal standard time. Flight Lhasa/Kathmandu lasts for 01 hour 10 minutes. During the flight you will see the following: Yalung Tsangpo river,Lake Yamdrok,Mt. Kanchanjunga (8586m) & Mt. Makalu (8463m) & Mt. Everest (8848m).
