Day01 Arrive in Lhasa

Check in the hotel to be accustomed to the high attitude and try to drink some water, avoiding much exercise. (Be noted the first day's acclimation is extremely to ensure you a good health status for the following tour, so please make sure you have yourself lie in bed for all the rest time of the day right after check-in of hotel).

Day02 Lhasa Sightseeing [B]
This morning we visit Potala Palace, the highest palace in the world. It is the Dalai Lama's winter palace, which locates on the red hill called Ma Po Ri in Tibetan. It is the symbol of Lhasa, which was originally constructed in 637 by Songtsan Campo, the first King of united Tibet, and later served as the religious-political nexus of religious Tibet. Later, we will go to visit the Sera monastery where lively lama debating will be seen (except Sundays). This is very interesting and famous. Many lamas sitting or standing in the yard debate a certain topic their teacher has given.

Afternoon we bid a tour for glistening Jokhang Temple, which has been built for 1400 years. Old Lhasa city took shape due to the temple, which will provide you one of your first sights of devout Tibetans.

After then, stroll around the bustling bazaar in Barkhor Street, a big market with its prolific stalls for selling specialties. It is the ancient part of Lhasa.

Day03 Lhasa/Yamdrok Lake/Gyantse/Shigatse [B]
After breakfast you will drive to Gyantse. Take a look at YamdrokYumtso Lake on the way. Upon arrival in Gyantse, we drop a visit to Palkhor Tschode Monastery, built in the 15th century, is situated in the west of Gyantse Town with mountains enclosing from three sides of the east, west and north. Its uniqueness is that its three Sects of Buddhism-shaja, Ningma and Guolu stayed harmoniously and contains a total of 75 chapels with wonderful murals revered by art scholars around the world.

After visit, we drive to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. The rest time will be spent in local free market, and something special maybe found.

Day04 Shigatse/Shegar [B]
In the morning, you will visit the Tashilumpo monastery which is the main attraction of Shigatse, it is one of 6 most famous monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism and it is the residence of Panchen Lama. There you can enjoy the highest bronze statue of Buddha, called future Buddha. And then drive to Shegar.

Day05 Shegar/Mt. Everest Base Camp [B]
In the Morning driving to EBC, on the way visit Rongbuk Monastery. Today you can appreciate the evening scenery of Mt. Everest enough.

Day06  Mt.Everest Base Camp/Xigatse [B]
Day  07  Xigatse/Lhasa
Day  08  Departure
